EIGHT AVE

The project is an alterations and additions of an existing cottage in Jannali. The streetscape is lined with small lightweight cottages which is reflective of the Jannali community in general, so the primary intention of the project was to create a seamless fusion between the existing cottage charm at the front and the modern features of the contemporary rear extension.  The compact design in the front cottage portion of the project houses the quiet spaces and as one walks through the house, the spaces become larger allowing for more volume in the entertaining spaces that flow out to the rear yard.
